Ensure that vehicles are cleaned thoroughly before being returned to customers.

Essential Job Duties

• Responsible for performing a thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles before final delivery to the customer.

• Responsible for performing a pre-clean on vehicles before the actual detailed process begins. This may include, fully vacuuming vehicles, removing pet hair from seats, cleaning and disinfecting car seats, water spraying cars, and more. 

• Visually inspect every vehicle for dirty areas, and clean accordingly. Vacuuming, shampooing, spraying, etc. 

• Responsible for assisting in the general maintenance of the shop and outside grounds.

• May be required to assist with scanning vehicles, and keep up with inventory.

• Consistently utilizes all required safety equipment, adheres to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal, and participates in safety meetings.

• Maintain the proper function of all service tools and equipment in the detail shop; keeping personal work area organized and returning tools, materials, and equipment to designated areas.

• Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business.

• Must have a valid driver's license. REQUIRED. (If you want to work helping us around the shop instead, you don't need a license.) 

• Strong communication skills that allow you to communicate effectively with your team members, owners, supervisors, and our beloved customers.

• Ability to operate equipment, and drive cars around the shop safely and efficiently. (Only if needed) 

• Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance. 

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Position is based in a normal shop environment.

Constant physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to inspect work, and lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs (occasionally).

Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and dust, along with high levels of noise.

Subject to weather conditions both inside and outside.

Detailing vehicles will always be performed inside the shop all year round. 

Required to wear protective equipment when necessary. 

Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
